Agreed. I. That situation, you don't think rationally, but it would've been better to just stop and talk to the officer. It seems as if he had only (yes, I know) been drinking.

OT: does the officer that tackled Paul have any eligibility for the football team?

Agree although I was never drunk in the South China area. Makes sense, though, as residence is about 1 1/2 blocks from there. At first it seemed like a strange place to be walking drunk. I liked to keep my drunk walking from campustown to six pack. Seemed pretty safe.

I read same article. Not sure Bardo would have made these comments if he work still working for ESPN. Seems like he has more rope with BTN. He blames the University police as much as the C/U police. Also didn't know that Paul's father is a policemen.

I visited most of C-U yesterday as I attempted to find a way to get to Atkins Tennis Center through the marathon maze. I went right by the South China restaurant and realized you can see teh Healey Street apartments from the South China parking lot. Not much cover in between though so it wasn't a smart move to try to bolt.

Take message board talk for what it is but from what I've seen on other boards apparently Paul liked going out drinking every night no matter what he had to do the next day. Apparently has more passion for the college experience at Illinois than playing basketball at Illinois.

Paul family with their attorney. In my opinion basketball is far, far from area of concern unless Paul can use basketball as a reason to get his life going in the right direction.
