Just because the State Meet is over doesn't mean Track season has ended.
Come out to Tremont Friday and Saturday to see some of the nation's best pole vaulters. Located in the north-West corner of the park in the baseball diamond. Vaulting, smoked turkey legs, strawberry shortcake and a 77^ forecast, what better way to spend a weekend?
There's even a 5K for you crazy distance fans.
And the hits keep coming

Re: And the hits keep coming
It was such a great event this year that we decided (and by "we" I mean mother nature) to add a third day.
Come out Sunday starting at 10:30 to see the college and high school elites.
Hi-Lite so far:
National #1 6th graded ups her PR.
National #1 14 yr old ups her PR.
EIU's Mick Viken jumped 17-10.
Illinois return of IHSA all-time all-class record holder Logan Pflibson.

How did this event go?
Re: And the hits keep coming
Today went pretty well. Mother nature sure played nice.
Ran 25 vaulters, 12 of which vaulted at State.
3 guys made 14-0: Steven Bradford (Bloomington), Dakota Cabagge (formerly Fairbery PC) and Joe Bevilacqua (Bloomington CC)
2 girls made 12-0: Brook Catherine (Normal Com.), Mackinzie Gallager (Normal West)
