4-6-3 and already looking like they are sleep walking through another season. Honestly, what on earth happened to this team? The "they've played a lot of extra hockey and are tired" excuse is over after missing the playoffs the last 2 seasons.
Fired a great coach and hired a mediocre one.

And he follows it with a stellar performance stopping 39 of 42 shots for a 0.929 save percentage as Chicago wins 5-3 over Vegas. This was the Hawks’ first victory ever against the Golden Knights.

Lehner stops 39 of 41 for Chicago. Two Preds’ goalies combine to stop 17 of 24. Hawks win 7-2.

Followed by last night's 4-1 drubbing of the Sabres. 9-7-4 and only 5 points behind the Blues with a game in hand. Maybe, just maybe mind you, they are turning things around?

Seems like all aspects are firing on all cylinders. Good O, D seems at least competent, and Lehner & Crow has been great lately.

Successive slow starts leading to playing catch up and unable to close the gap.

Honest question for the Hawks fans on here...Do you think they would have gotten rid of Stan by now if his dad wasn't involved with the team (albeit not in a major role)?

No. The salary cap makes it so difficult to compete for the Cup. And it’s really hard to accept it is time to rebuild.

After beating Boston 4-3 in OT night before last, Chicago whipped New Jersey 2 - 1 in a shootout last night. The shootout went five rounds with Kirby Dach the third overall pick in last years draft netting the game winner and Jack Hughes the first overall pick getting stoned by Crow.

The headline in today’s Chicago Sun-Times reads Chicago’s Collapse in the Third Period... Wrong. The Hawks were completely outplayed the entire game and with a depleted roster it just caught up to them.

At least my granddaughter was happy. She lives and works in St. Louis. She is a huge Blues’ fan and was at the game.

In successive game the Hawks beat the 5th best team Colorado on the road 5-3 then lose 7-1 to the 30th best team New Jersey at home. Say what?

Brandon Saad is going to be out for three weeks with a right ankle injury.

Calvin de Haan is going to be out for the remainder of the season. He will have surgery to repair his right shoulder.

Brent Seabrook will also have surgery to his right shoulder and be out for the season. In addition to that for Seabrook, he will have surgery on his right hip in January and his left hip in February.

Seabrook and Kieth were great defensive players years ago, not really that good now.
