Marijuana is still fully illegal in Kansas...

In January 2020, the Austin City Council unanimously passed a resolution that limits enforcement action for low-level marijuana possession offenses.

This resolution does the following:

Commits to not wasting city resources on testing THC levels for low-level marijuana offenses; and
To the extent allowable under state law, stops the Austin Police Department from citing and arresting people for marijuana possession cases they know will be rejected by prosecutors.

Found a brief Mark Adams mention in a ‘97 article about the BU/Illini series. Says Mark Adams got a court order to keep his job at Texas Pan American.

I'm sure at this point, Howard has the appropriate connections to supply players and supply players.

Texas and Texas Tech have both poached DI head coaches for bench roles as well.

In addition to Howard, UTEP head coach Rodney Terry has resigned to join Chris Beard's staff at Texas.

Texas Tech head coach Mark Adams has added Portland State head coach Barret Peery to his staff.

Oh, look! 3 alums among early names floated for Arizona:

Pastner (GT)
Simon (Lakers assistant)
Stoudamire (Pacific)

These guys are nothing if not humorous.

They absolutely hate about 85% of all coaches and coaching hires and bag on as many people as they can --- but some of it is entertaining at least.
---If you need it, you don't have it. If you have it you don't need it. But if you need and you don't have it, you want it. If you don't have any of it, then you really don't know how to get more to get started then do you?---

I'm betting there will be quite a few others putting their name in for that job. Lute Olson has a pretty good coaching tree in respect to players turning into coaches. I wonder if the NCAA pressured AZ to dump Miller.

He’s right as it relates to Majerle. Would be a god awful hire. But he’s an ALUM!!!

My first thought was what took Arizona so long. By waiting they potentially missed out on some coaches. Your theory about NCAA pressure might make some sense here SFP.

Also, the administration was pre-occupied with the women's run to the title game, and probably didn't want to interrupt that success with a negative story.

What are the chances that the NCAA will punish AZ and the other pay to play schools under Adidas? I say 10% chance because if they do you can guarantee the Nike guys will also be exposed some way. I do not believe for one second it was just the Adidas schools playing this game. If it was you'd hear the other guys screaming bloody murder.

Right, it may have been in everybody's best interests for Miller to "disappear".

Rumor is that he's heading as an assistant to the NBA.

Just in case you’re too young to have witnessed Sean as a youngster.

Borzello mentioned Gonzaga assistant Tommy Lloyd as a possibility as well as BYU coach Mark Pope and Arkansas coach Eric Musselman. There's stuff for and against Lloyd happening. He has a son who was a freshman at GCU this season. On the other hand, he already has an agreement in writing with Gonzaga that so long as he's there, when Few retires, it's Lloyd's job to have.

Former Brave assistant Ritchie McKay received an extension at Liberty that will keep him through 2028, and probably sets him up for life if they choose to go in a different direction before the deal expires.

He has been an outstanding coach for Liberty and walks the walk. I'm happy for him because if anyone deserves a lifetime deal with their university it's him.
