Coach Brown

Post by SouthofWoodford1 »

From a very reliable source, Coach Brown will be taking a medical leave of absence, but has vowed to return in November to coach the team. Wish him and his family the best of luck, and a speedy recovery!!

Scary stuff. I truly wish him and his loved ones all the best and hope he's back on the sidelines in November.

Coach Brown was not feeling well according to one of my Panther friends and couldn’t coach last night’s victory at the Potterdome. Morton players once again wore their warmup shirts dedicated to Coach Brown. Kudos for their ongoing support.

Obviously a long year for Panthers with C Brown's illness and several key returning players electing not to play. Pretty hard for physically inferior freshmen and sophs to compete at the varsity level. Still scratching my head how they were able to beat the Potters the other night. Kudos to Morton for supporting the Coach. We all know that this type of cancer is a really bad deal

First of all, great coach. Wish all the best.

Second, this young team is coming together. It’s not your basic team that has worked together for 3 or 4 years. They have played great the last few games. Games that are 1 or 2 points. This team will be a threat in the near future. All Washington has to do is stay healthy and not miss out on anymore absent players.

Believe me, Washington will be ready for Regionals.

I heard the sad news that coach Brown has passed away. I admired his toughness, his pursuit for excellence, and his will to win. Its my opinion, that good coach's are remembered by their wins and loses. Its also my opinion, that great coach's are remembered by their players for setting the foundation of making them better people in life. The players that were able to achieve the rigors of coach Browns expectations learned a valuable lesson. Always do your best! You will be missed Coach Brown! RIP

He was my daughters favorite teacher when she was in school and always took his weight training class. He lived like he taught, never give up and and fight to the end. RIP coach you’ve earned it
