For the civil discussion of small school boys basketball.

Interesting that they only plan on a three-year trial period: 2021-22-23. The girls will play March 4-6, 2021, which is currently the weekend of the Class 3A/4A Girls Basketball State Finals, while the boys tourney will take place March 11-13, 2021. So the 1A/2A girls season will be a week longer and the Boys 3A/4A season will be a week shorter.
Still no details on how the games will be structured within the three days, though it is specified there will be the same number of team as in the current State finals. "Each class will continue to have four state final qualifying teams".

My hunch is 1A/2A semis on Thursday, 3A/4A semis on Friday, and championship games on Saturday with no 3rd place games.

That would make the most sense, and they only said there would be four teams, not going into further details.

Which, as I pointed out above, is what I suspect they will do.
