State Farm Classic

Post by SS01 »

The seeding committee has some explaining to do. Explain why Rock Island, #3 ranked in 4A with High School American Brea Beal, is given a #4 seed, while some unknown team from Union, KY is given a #3 seed. Richwoods' road to the championship game: #14 4A Chicago Kenwood, and either Rock Island or #5 3A Bethalto Civic Memorial. Morton's road: Chicago Simeon, and either Union, Ky or Chicago St. Ignatius. The motivation is all too transparent.

I have seen Union, Ky on tape.

Must be a Richwoods fan. Sounds like sour grapes. You didn't mention that #3 Morton beat #1 Richwoods.,,,and #2 Union KY beat #4 Rock Island. The top 4 seeds were the final 4...….not bad seedings.

Union KY is the #1 ranked team in KY...…..somebody must have known something plus they DID win the tournament.

Simeon and St. Ignatius are both 4A schools with good records...….it wasn't an easy road for Morton.

IMO......Perhaps Richwoods should spend a lot of time practicing free throws instead of complaining to refs.

For years, the Golden Girls have gotten the benefit of the vast majority of calls.
