Large School Rankings

Post by booya 1 »

East Peoria, 0-1, is ranked in 5th in the PJS Large School Rankings today. With a couple of losses next week they have a chance to move up a few spots 8 )

I'm out of the loop a little this year on some of the area teams. Is this a sign of the Large Schools being somewhat down this year?

I think it more reflected that these were probably only the teams that had played a match yet.

Hope so! One more question....will it be just you and I on the volleyball boards this season? The crickets on here have been deafening.

Ep might move up a notch or 2 this year with what i think is the best outside hitter in area in Jacobs. I dont think it will put them at top 2 though. I have to think Limestone will be somewhat of heavy favorite this year. Washing losing Jess Lenord is a big blow to them i think. Very good athlete at net. A down year in overall talent conference wide besides Limestone

Lost to Pekin last night without Pekin's top player. Not moving up.

EP is not as good as i thought. Another down year for them quite possable. Washington is way down when compared to previous years with only one senior. Dunlap might be the sleeper as of now. How is Metamora this year? I just dont see much talent or depth as previous years. Then again people said Metamora football was gonna take a big drop and i havent seen that yet either. Pekin might be improved, but still is what it is. Canton is not improved.

Haven't heard the injury but it was reported that she was injured last week.

Hope its not serious - she is going to be one of the better players in the area the next few years. With her Pekin might actually improve some...

Isssshhhh. Its just opinoins. We all gots a big chance to be right or wrong. But i do believe Limestone to be the best in conference still. Morton beat Metamora in couple tight ones last night it looks like? Morton is close to being undefeated with couple of breaks here and there. Still want to know whats up with Washington as they have 1 senior left playing? Very down year for them.

You only have to attend a couple of matches to figure out what is wrong with Washington. It started last year and has carried into this year (hence, the only reason 1 senior is on the squad). No need to say much more than that. The WCHS Administration was made aware of the issues last year. Same issues this year.....seems like if it's anyone's job to stand up for players and the program as a whole it would be the AD and the administration, right?
