Another week of some intriguing match-ups.
I'm no President Trump fan but thank you sir for your comments in regard to the NFL and those protesting our nations anthem. You were spot on!!!

Some of the choices you have (among both small school and large school):
-SHG/Glenwood
-Tuscola/Arcola
-Eureka/GCMS

Sterling 69 Pekin 7 - only blemish for Sterling is missing an extra point! :D

Sterling will only score 49 points but 42 of them will be at the half, the second team will only score the other 7

I wasn't able to attend the Washington-Belleville (West) game the other night. Sounds like quite the game/finish. Can someone who was at game, fill me/us in how a team who could not score a point in 6 quarters(shutout against Sycamore game 1), somehow score 30+ in next 2? What the heck did they do different from the initial 6 quarters?
The more you sweat in practice, the less you bleed in battle.

Bballnut, I pondered this too. BW was a very skilled and fast team, but they were exhausted by the middle of 3rd quarter. Panthers were able to run through, over and around them. Seems like the necessity of opening up the offense was just what Panthers needed. Some poorly timed penalties by BW helped too. IMO, Sycamore and BW were about even as far as skill, speed edge to BW. Sycamore was a very well conditioned team. I just don’t think we were ready to play vs Sycamore. Looked extremely unprepared. If the Washington team we saw the last 18 minutes Friday night is who we will be the rest of the way, look out MI.
