If you’re going to take your time out on the floor then at least make sure you get your sweat wiped up.
What is that, yoga?

Big win tonight on the road. That was a tough 5 game stretch but the last 5 should have numerous Illinois wins.

So if I'm reading the standings correctly, Illinois can clinch the double bye for the B1G Tournament as early as Thursday if Michigan State wins at Penn State and Purdue wins at Iowa Tuesday night and the Illini win at Ohio State on Thursday night.

I think the biggest thing Brad has going for him in comparison to his 2 predecessors is that he willingly changed his Offensive and Defensive strategies to what his player strengths were from prior year's analysis - and it's worked.

Plus he’s got much better players than Groce.

Well the 2 things Illinois needed to happen to clinch a double bye in the B1G tournament happened tonight. All that's left is for the Illini to win at Ohio State on Thursday to make it official.

Very nice win by the Illini over Iowa, yes I know they made it a little too close late. Just a tremendous year and hopefully it carries over to the Big 10 tournament and then the Big Dance.

Garza gets the most calls. Glad to see him get blocked at the end.

Glad they won and had a good season. However, I refuse to over celebrate a return to B1G relevance when such seasons should be an expectation.

Considering where the program has been since 2013, there's no reason for not celebrating on a night like this. And with the way this program is trending, this could be the start of something big.

CJ Frederick pretty much confirming why many of the other B1G schools dislike him and his teammates:

Well with the season now over, how does everyone think the Illini will be heading into next season?

The only seniors they losing that got any sort of playing time were Kipper Nichols and Andres Feliz.

And the recruiting class looks to be pretty strong with guys like Adam Miller, Andre Curbelo, and Coleman Hawkins set to come in along with D-III transfer Austin Hutcherson.

Holy Cross transfer Jacob Grandison probably making a bigger impact next year than Hutcherson.

BBV was injured all season so he’s a possibly a great addition as a back up 4 next season.

Guessing there’s one or two transfers out. Names withheld to protect the innocent.

Ayo and Kofi both go pro?

Or does this cancellation delay their leaving for a year?

If this season had to end prematurely, it’s nice that the final game was a win over Iowa that included a CJ Frederick cry baby interview.

Illini broke streaks against Wisconsin, Purdue, Penn State and Iowa this season.
