Apparently the Alabama/Auburn game had the best of the best for today’s game. So just how in the world can they allow the snap and allow a kicker to kick a field goal BEFORE the head official signaled to start the clock. It should not have gotten that far because the clock clearly should have run out to end the half. I have never seen a clock get stuck at .02 then .01 before. No sour grapes because the defense didn’t play well enough to win, but hopefully someone will check these things out. Watch it, it is mind boggling.

What is the point of putting time back on the clock if it doesn't allow for a snap? I realize that at this point it is rather like asking how many angels can dance on the head of a pin, because we can dissect this seven ways from Sunday and still not agree, but what foolishness it would be to put a meaningless second on the clock. Either declare the half over, or run a play. They ran a play. Nick and the rest of roll tide nation need to get over it. He got outcoached, imo. Sometimes goosing the refs is part of the game. The last play was a beaut.
Nope not here for a dissertation on the game. Way to many self initiated penalties to win that one. My only point was this; how can a team kick a field goal when clock is stopped and the official has not yet wound the clock.

SEC officials can only dream as being as bad as NBA officials. Just yesterday, LeBron was walking the ball up, stopped dribbling, took 3 steps, then started dribbling again without getting called for traveling. The official was walking up the court beside him looking right at LeBron the whole time and still didn't make the call.
