Re: NFL playoffs 2021
With it looking like he's set to retire, where would you all rank Brees among the best QBs you've ever seen? When I was a kid the QBs I remember watching were guys like Len Dawson, Fran Tarkenton, Roger Staubach, Johnny Unitas, Bob Griese, Kenny Stabler, Earl Morrell, Greg Landry, John Brodie, Terr...

Re: Chicago Bears 2020
Hopefully not health related as Pagano had cancer. Outside of health, I think Pagano left because Nagy is a dbag who won't take accountability for a terrible offense. After the defense has far out played the offense throughout Nagy's tenure, the first cracks in that defense and Nagy has the gall to...

Re: Panthers G2
The defense on the high ball screen was brutal. That needs to be fixed. The defense in general wasn't real good at UNI. This to me is maddening. We have continuously seen this from Wardle's guys --- who is considered a good defensive coach. Consistently going under the screen and then wondering why...

Re: La Russa back to the South Side?
Ok jeez, I didnt mean to make it sound like I dont think drinking and riving is a big deal. Im just saying that I think it speaks more to his ego and bad judgement then it might speak to an alcohol problem. Or maybe he is a raging alcoholic, who knows. But in any case, it was a bad decision to bring...

Re: La Russa back to the South Side?
A couple of DUI dont necessarily equate to a drinking problem. I have no idea what his drinking habits are, but the DUI I think speak more to his ego. For all we know those are the only 2 times hes drank and driven and just has bad luck. Most likely not but we dont know. Certainly bad decisions on h...

After Ari held / dribbled the ball for about 20 seconds then decided to shoot a 12 foot turnaround jump shot and clank it high off the backboard i woulda sat his a s s until December of 2021.......at this point he has no idea how to play basketball. As has been said, there is a reason why hes at a ...

https://twitter.com/Johnathan_Wood1/status/1339214437723615233?s=20 Good twitter thread on Mitch and his performance vs good/bad defenses. Don’t most QBs do better against bad defenses? Of course..I think the point is how he performs against good defenses. Thats kind of what seperates good qb vs no...

Mike Schmitt and Don Kessinger both played in the CICL. As did Kirby Puckett and many other future MLB players at various stages of the league.

Re: Minor League Affiliation/Levels
The first year that we had minor league baseball, 1983 I went to one of the first games. The Peoria Suns ( Angels affiliate) against I dont recall. I was 21 yrs old and they had .25 beers and .10 hot dogs. It was a thursday and me and my buddy then went to Lucky Lady for .25 beers. I had 5.00 in my ...

Re: 2020 B1G-ACC Challenge
I didnt tune in until late in the game and even then wasnt listening, just watching. But it did seem that Bilas was pontificating alot and not calling the game? I kind of like him as a color, but sometimes it seems that they talk to each other rather than pay attention to the game. Is that just me?

Re: So far biggest eye opener and disappointment
And, for the most part, everyone plays selflessly. Giving up a good look for an even better one. Unless your name is Elijah Child’s 😁. That dude touches it, he’s shooting it. Except last night I noticed him chomping at the bit to shoot on multiple occassions, in those gotta get mine times. And he g...

Give me as much of East, Nolan, Childs, Mast, Henry, Ville as they can handle. Give me Hannah as much as he can get. Boya, McAdoo, Kinsby can fill in where needed.

Btw, Ive seen alot of GLVC basketball through the years. Its a solid DII league with several teams that look just like Lewis, lot of competitive good basketball games. They arent really close to MVC level but they arent Judson either.

Boya is not close to getting an offensive board. Multiple times, he does nothing to get himself into position. Awful
