Re: How will Covid-19 affect the season?

Just so we're all clear here, Bradley can probably cobble together an athletic department budget without having fans in attendance this year. I think a lot of the sponsors, higher level donors, etc are still on board. Bradley Athletics will no longer exist in any reasonable way with no fans for the...

Re: Jay Johnstone

Crazy. I remember Jay Johnstone as a player very well. How could he be 74 years old. Im getting old, all these former athletes, musicians, actors, personalities that I grew up with are dying off and it just seems so weird to me. Any way, RIP JJ.

Re: Strapped: Peoria

Glad you guys enjoyed them. I did too. I am basically a bogey golfer, and I can relate to the guy trying to shoot under par....it’s just trying to break my record round (86). I have been right there a lot of times this year, and then I sabotage myself and self destruct somewhere late in the round. ...

I havent listend to WSCR ( The Score) in years..probably since Mike North was on. However, I agree with TCQ, how and why these guys in media think its a good move to tweet the stupid things they do is hard to understand. BTW she is smoking hot and I think she should wear whatever she wants. If he wa...

RIP Lou Brock. Of course one of my favorite Cardinals of all time and most Cardinal fans of a certain age. I dont know if he would get inducted in todays game and I really dont care. He was a difference maker for sure. I also loved Jim Edmonds time with the Cardinals, I dont know if hes HOF worthy o...

Believe it or not, not everyone has access to the internet, and some parts of the country have unreliable access. Really, the way we do it in-person presently still remains the most secure, unhackable way of doing it. You're issued a pin, you vote on a little computer, you can confirm you ballot, a...

Re: Bucks Boycott

We should want more people voting, not less. We should make voting easier, not harder. Election Day every year should be a National Holiday. People shouldn’t have to choose work or voting. There isn’t a more important day on our calendar. I havent seen anyone say anything to the contrary here, but ...

Yes, that is true. Sometimes taxes are good. I paid property taxes to support your children's schooling while I never used that opportunity. Do I resent that? NO! I choose a different education system, but I think it is my obligation to support public education for the betterment of our country. Ye...

Re: St. Louis Cardinals 2020

I have been a Cardinals fan since 1962. I have been watching the game. I've found that I have no interest in it whatsoever. I turned it off in the 3rd inning. My enthusiasm for baseball has been thoroughly destroyed. Why? First, the straw that broke the camel’s back for me was the long, drawn out j...
