Re: Chicago Bulls 2020 - 2021

Hoiburg was better off at Iowa State but was flattered by Bulls wanting him. Boylan was just a horrible, horrible hire from the start. They went from a players coach to a disciplined maniac. Put that on Gars and Paxton, Jerry’s puppets. Even thou I don’t watch much NBA, I have followed the Bulls be...

Re: Chicago Bulls 2020 - 2021

It's nice to have a bulls team that is fun to watch. I wouldn't go as far as calling them good but I actually want to watch games this year instead of dreading the end of the Hoiberg and Jim Boylen era.

Re: Chicago Bears 2020

Wentz has shown MVP potential but coming off a major injury and a horrible season, I hate the idea of giving up a 1st for him.

If Nico is starting at 2nd at the beginning of the year I wouldn't be disappointed. But I do think there is upside for him starting in AAA.

Re: Chicago Cubs 2020

While I like the signing, he strikes out way too much to be a leadoff man. I'm guessing Happ will still lead off and Joc will be around the 5/6 spot in the order. I would tend to agree: Happ Bryant Rizzo Baez Peterson Contreras ? Hoerner ? - depends if DH gets approved or not Hoerner might turn int...

Bradley loses to the best team in conference without 2 of their top 7 guys and everyone is freaking out. Obviously there's some things to be frustrated about but let's have some perspective here.

Disappointing to see Lester leave. Best FA signing in Cubs history??

I will say I like the Shelby Miller signing. Low risk with the possibility of a high reward.

Re: Chicago Bears 2020

Brad Biggs tweeted out yesterday morning that one of his sources said the fear after the game was that Roquan had a dislocated elbow which would mean he's out for multiple weeks. Biggs was also on the Mully and Haugh show this morning and seemingly implied that Nagy is safe no matter what happens S...

Re: Chicago Bears 2020

Mike I would politely say that 95% is a stretch. I could agree on maybe 75% as that would probably be close to his qb rating. The D failed to pressure Rodgers.... our secondary is really hurting too...... not sure status on skrine and Smith.... Brad Biggs tweeted out yesterday morning that one of h...

Re: Chicago Cubs 2020

KS non tenured, instead of paying him $8-9 mil, they let him go. Might come back at a lower salary, but doubt that will happen. Question is, if there is a DH in National League what else can they get for that money? I think they would want someone similar to Schwarbs but as a right hander? Just a g...

All winter sports have been shut down and only outdoor and individual (1 coach 1 player per facility) workouts will be allowed. :|

Re: Prairieland 2021

No offense...but even given the enrollment disparity, is Macomb currently good enough in any of their sports to "trounce" all of these teams repeatedly? At the moment not really (which probably contributed to the decision to invite them), but given how wide the disparity is I think it's f...

Macomb has reportedly been invited as a full member (all sports) starting in 21-22. I was okay with this for football only on a temporary/semi-temporary basis, but for all sports I don't know. This feels like desperation from a conference that's losing members. I'm struggling to see how this move b...

Re: Chicago Bears 2020

I think Nagy is a good head coach but man his play calling seems like it has no rhyme or reason. It would be nice to see him give up that and just focus on being the HC. It also doesn't help that when he calls a good play the offense can't execute it.

I've posed a question recently that I do not think has a right or wrong answer. I still think that JB, along with the IDPH, will not change their Phase restrictions for winter sports. They have be pretty adamant about that all along. Unless there is a vaccine, it will not happen. Right or Wrong. There is a remote chance that it will be approved without fans, very remote since ...

Re: Chicago Cubs 2020

This was a season different and the nearly the same everyone. For the Cubs, they had an opportunity to win at home, then go to a neutral park where anything could happen. But they couldn’t even get out of the first round, against the 6th seed. I don’t know what they lack, but it has been going on s...
