Re: Dictator Pritzker Holding Illinois Hostage!
Bluejay, I won't get into the numbers yet, but shouldn't the IHSA schools have a say in this? Shouldn't maybe the schools themselves vote on this? IN fact, last week the IHSA sent a letter asking the governor to hand control of high school sports BACK to the IHSA. He REFUSED. Hence why I used word ...

From Farmers' Almanac: "The long-range forecast calls for a cold winter with normal to below normal temperatures in the areas from the Great Lakes and Midwest westward through the Northern and Central Plains, and Rockies." I'm already planning on buying a pair of boots for the snowy games...

Re: Predictions for 2020 Mid Illini
What’s your thoughts on baseball and football switching this school year. It may feel weird but would give a tier one sport a chance. This has to happen. Fall football IMO is 95% off. If it's on and multiple kids get diagnosed positive it is going to be an unfortunate row of dominoes. Debby downer ...

Yes, the 1977 team reached the Elite Eight in Class A, but did not bring home a trophy. This will be the first basketball trophy for RB. The 1986 team reached the super sectional and lost to Hoopeston East Lynn. Great teams in the 1960's were prior to multiple classes and kept running into great Pe...

Re: Mid-Illini 2019-20
Metamora should’ve had the officials open the curtain in the second half like last year. I think the result would’ve been different. Hope Washington does it. Metamora won a share of the conference title because of that. What is this referring to? Morton's curtain in end zone of court? How does that...

If he was offered I am 100% sure he would take it. He is a professional administrator who strives for a challenge. Another perk is, this is a state job thus his salary qualifies for state pension. Work there for 10 years and his pension is probably 50% of his salary. Just speculating.

Scrolled through all the bracket scores. Almost every single 5-4 team was simply waxed. Please don't expand the field.

Washington shot themselves in the foot twice in the short red zone. I understand they are kids.
However, why the defensive scheme didn't say, hey #17 is pretty good, let's not let him beat us.
He and they did.

I probably need to dig deeper, but this is probably wrong, but not diabolical or cashing in thousands on shoe contracts. Darn it they helped a kid with his grades. Yes they handled him, but obviously he wanted Depaul as his choice. The men’s basketball program recruited the student-athlete, who had ...

Re: But will it translate
It really all depends on how the new pieces fit and how quickly they can get up to speed and help us win games. We really need at least a couple immediate starters from this group. Possibly three. We also need Henry, Brummett, and Boya to take major strides forward in their games to the likes of ho...

Personal thought - I have been to playoff games for every pro team I follow and every home game of a historic World Series run. Bradley basketball in the NCAA’s is peak sports for me. Short of winning, it just does not get any better than days like today. So true. I've been to the masters. I've bee...

yeah, let's be honest here. i wasn't there, but c'mon, you have an area super team with two D-1 scholarship players, a frontline of 6' 6", 6' 7", 6' 8", and you can't score more than 36 points?? Curious as to who the D1 players are and where they're going to college. I really don't k...

Re: Metamora Hoops News?
Did I read a bit of whining by DG in today’s PJS? From people I talked to that were at the game, Redbirds just played bad. What? Metamora thinks were screwed by the officials? Say it ain't so. The crew was very very bad except for the ref that wasn't pregnant. It went both ways. The game was way to...

Curious if the MTHS/Manual game is expected to be a flip of the coin. I haven't seen Manual play.

As painful as it is, I’m glad Metamora won. I get so tired year after year of what Morton does before and during the game. Echo on the sentiments about Luuk. Absolutely no reason at all he should have DNP'd at all this season unless he was injured, especially with our offensive limitations. Lundy too. The guy has brought energy and playmaking on both ends every opportunity he's gotten. Yet they both have sat and watche...
