Re: Chinese tennis star missing

I don’t want to get into a word or sentence feud with Peng, but I believe she wasn’t educated on the situation at hand, and she spoke, and so many people could have been harmed, not only financially, but physically. Emotionally. Spiritually. So just be careful what we tweet and what we say, and wha...

Can't believe it's come to this, me, defending GBG. States all time single season rushing leader is T.J. Stinde, Lexington, 2009. He ran for IWU. Are Eureka, Knox and Monmouth really that far below IWU? [1.] 3,325,T.J. Stinde, Lexington, 2009 (14 games) Lexington played Tremont and DeeMack, not Was...

Re: CFP Rankings

The fact that the powers that be in FBS can't get out of their own way with a playoff is absolutely ridiculous and hilarious. This isn't hard. You can resolve all 3 of your petty hangups by going to 16: 10 conference champions 6 at-larges Done. Good grief. You get your precious conference champions...

The Final Four are set: Larson, Elliott, Truex, and (crybaby) Hamlin. I'm good with anyone but Hamlin. Yesterday's antics only underscored how pathetic he is.

Re: NASCAR

In sports, there are no cheap victories. It's insulting to suggest that someone's victory is cheap. Most of the time, luck does not apply in sports either. McDowell put himself in a position to succeed, a skill learned over years of racing at the top level. Bubba did the same thing. Neither victory...

Re: NASCAR

Here's a better question for you all. Bubba wins at Talladega because of a wreck and then later a race being called because of rain. Michael McDowell won the Daytona 500 at the start of this year because he avoided a last lap wreck. Was McDowell's win considered "lucky"? You are the one w...

Just admit that you'll never Bubba credit for reasons that you're unwilling to face. He's not the only one on this board that seems to have this issue. Ah... Re: NASCAR

Restrictive plate tracks were always going to make it possible for him to steal a win. Michael Waltrip picked up multiple wins at those, so it tells you it takes minimal skill. Winning at a race where everyone has nearly the same chance of winning means you have less skill than winning at a track w...

It’s on record in this thread in an interview from Wallace that his guy found it, told Wallace, Wallace said check other garages and then they reported it. Playing with the facts to make it look like Wallace didn’t report it. Ok Forgive me if I don’t reply for a couple days. Working on a multi-mill...

Wallace’s crew found the noose, told him about it, he made the decision to report it. Saying he didn’t report it is like saying people with 2 doses are unvaccinated. Not seen “not targeted” before so that’s a positive step. How about this was a total non-event that was blown up for no reason. Walla...

Didn’t Morton beat Meta last Friday? The new AP ranking are out and Meta dropped out of the top 10 and into the “others receiving votes” but still had more votes than Morton who is also mentioned. I always Scratch my head when they rank a team lower than a team they just beat, that happened a lot m...

I’m not holding a grudge as long as Wallace doesn’t come off his story. I saw an article in September with him still talking about the incident. He can change perception but he won’t admit there wasn’t a story there. He’s making book on the story so why change it. Squirrel, don’t ever cross me. I n...

It’s a mistake try to determine the strength of an SEC team relative to that of a non-SEC team by it’s play within the conference. Over the last 20 years, the SEC has proven on the field to be superior to all the other conferences. The SEC plays at a higher level. Who gave Alabama a bigger challeng...

Re: NASCAR

Rainy conditions cause a big wreck and the race being called when Wallace happened to be in first. While technically a win, it isn't exactly a cause to celebrate either. So anytime a driver takes the lead just before the rain comes, it doesn't count? Or just Bubba? Who said it didn't count? I just ...

She's a public university employee in Illinois, so she would have until next week some time to be vaccinated (at least one shot) to comply with the governor's order. I really doubt that is the reason.

One of the reasons I am drawn to NASCAR is the variety and, in some cases, the beauty of the paint schemes. Don't get me wrong, Indy, F1, and IMSA also have some beautiful liveries, but the size of NASCAR cars makes for a beautiful canvas. 23XI Racing revealed their paint scheme for this weekend. Go...

Didn't get a chance to watch much of the race as I had other stuff going but it sounds like it was a real clusterf***. I still think that had things went better yesterday, they might have brought on COTA as a Chase (as in for the Cup not Elliott) track. Who knows now but one would think the weather...
