Bradley beats Loyola 60-47 on the road to improve to 13-2 overall, 4-0 Valley.

Chelsea Brackmann set a new school career record for rebounds (845 and counting) with an 8-board effort.

On to Valpo Sunday afternoon. . .

Re: Raining three’s

It looks like it was on 30 attempts. Still a bit of an outlier, but in the 4 games before that, they shot 21, 21, 19, and 23, but the high in conversions was 9 (one of the 21 attempt nights). I think the frenetic pace of the game from both teams making threes was probably the main reason for the inc...

Re: UNI Part 2

Michigan was here during their national runner-up season in 2013, but of course, our team was terrible then, and there was little hope of competing, even though we only lost by 8.

Michigan State we had a puncher's chance to win, at least.

So, I guess I have given up on a late comeback this year. But has anyone heard if he is practicing yet. Does he look like they thought? ( Good ) I don't think a return for this year was ever a serious consideration. Rienk will be Valley newcomer of the year next year. And that is a rare BOOK I T fr...

SIU offensively challenged. We know three of the Thursday night teams in UE, SIU and ISU. Who will be the 4th? Probably Valpo, but if things don't get better quick in Springfield. . . If Indiana St can sustain solid 3 point shooting all year (last year it tanked big team in league), they should win...

Been in this game one hundred years, but I see new ways to lose 'em I never knew existed before. I hear ya, Casey. . . I am still surprised that no one has tried to utilize smart lenses and frames for pitchers that could convey info to pitchers about base runners. Maybe that would be too obvi...

Suggs just went down late in the Loyola-SIU game. Walked off on his own power, but he may have to miss some time. Salukis have definitely had injury troubles this year.

UPDATE: Suggs returned late in this game.

Thought he deserved his own thread. . .I had more tempered expectations than most for him this year, but once he re-discovered his 3 point stroke, here are his stats since mid-December (Dec. 10 to be exact - so 9 games): 8.44 ppg with a .551 3-pt % (16/29) Those numbers include a goose egg vs. Toled...

Wardle was on 1470 this morning. He said he started to talk to Nate about taking off-balance 3’s, and instead use his shot fake more...then he looked down at the score book, saw 7-10 from 3 and then said don’t listen to me  Wardle is a pretty good storyteller and has a wicked sense of humor in...

Is this the last Saturday Home Game of the season?
No. . .but the only other one is the season finale vs. Loyola on Feb.29. . .and that game could get picked up nationally or regionally, so the time won't be announced until a couple weeks before.

Here's another insane stat: Wardle still needs to go +9 just to get to .500 overall here at Bradley. Resident historian. Squirrel and his Stats Inc department have been killing it lately. Since we started 0-5 last year...26-10? 25-10, win Saturday, then it's 26-10. Then we host the Birds and visit ...

Big point of clarification-they never threw any games, and most especially, they played both title games to win. Throwing games and shaving points are two different things.

Re: Mo.St.

I almost think Wardle pushed Ford into this type of game. Last year, Wardle made many derogatory statements about MSU’s sloooow pace. On the post-game, Wardle mentioned that this was the fastest pace MSU played all year, and possibly resulted in MSU being too gassed at the end. That's coaching righ...
